My magic link email never arrives

01What you're seeing

You entered your email on the Hemma sign-in page, clicked Send magic link, but no email arrived. You cannot sign in.

02What you're seeing

You entered your email on the Hemma sign-in page, clicked Send magic link, but no email arrived. You cannot sign in.

03Most likely cause — spam or junk folder

Hemma's sign-in emails come from hello@gethemma.app. Many email clients filter mail from unfamiliar senders into spam, junk, or a "Promotions" tab.

Fix:

  1. Open your spam, junk, or Promotions folder.
  2. Search for "Hemma" or "hello@gethemma.app".
  3. If you find it, mark it as "Not spam" so future links land in your inbox.
  4. Click the magic link in the email. Links are valid for a limited time — if it has expired, go back to the sign-in page and request a new one.

04Other things to check

  1. Wrong email address — did you type the right address? The magic link is sent to the exact email you entered. If you have multiple email addresses, make sure you used the one attached to your Hemma account.

  2. Sender domain blocked — some corporate email servers block mail from domains they do not recognise. Ask your IT team to allow mail from gethemma.app, or try signing in with Google instead.

  3. Google sign-in — if your email address is a Google account, you can also sign in with Continue with Google on the sign-in page. This does not require an email to arrive.

  4. Delayed delivery — sometimes email delivery takes a few minutes, especially via mobile networks or corporate mail gateways. Wait two or three minutes and check again before requesting another link.

  5. Request a new link — return to the sign-in page and enter your email again to request a fresh magic link. Requesting a new one does not invalidate your account.

05If none of this worked

Email hello@gethemma.app with the email address you are trying to sign in with and what you have already tried. We can check whether there is a delivery issue on our end.
