An email address that has emailed your project. Every project has its own incoming address, and any address that has used it shows up in your senders list.
Each sender has a status: approved (their emails come straight through), rejected (their emails are quarantined), or unknown (their emails wait for you to decide). You set the status once per address; from then on, future emails follow the rule.
New senders always land in the waiting room first.
